Multi-tier on rack

Multi-tier systems utilise the full height of a room by creating walkways on higher levels and allow access by personnel to pick and retrieve goods without the use of a forklift. A pallet drop zone is normally included to facilitate placing of goods by forklift for the person to then store the goods thereafter. Both shelving and pallet racking are able to be extended into muti-tier systems.

Typical use of this system can be a archive filing system where companies can store hundreds of boxes of archives that need access regularly. Another example are car spare parts facilities.
