Safety Bar HP EVO

Safety Bar HP EVO is an industrial LED lamp for the safety lighting of overhead cranes. Mounted on the crane, it projects a coloured bar of light onto the floor to provide a visual warning of the crane’s approach and mark the front and rear manoeuvring areas.

This makes it suitable for warehouses, production facilities and other work areas where overhead cranes operate near personnel, vehicles or equipment. The visual warning is especially useful in noisy and hazardous environments, where an audible signal may be difficult to notice. The system is designed to support the safety of crane operators and workers in surrounding manoeuvring areas.

Safety Bar HP EVO is available with blue, red, green or yellow light projection. The technical data supplied covers the blue and red versions. The blue version uses three high-power blue LEDs, with a dominant wavelength of 460 nm. The red version uses three high-power red LEDs, with a dominant wavelength of 620 nm. Both versions have an On/Off control and project a bar-shaped beam.

High-efficiency LEDs and a focusing optic lens direct the light onto the ground. An integrated fan supports thermal dissipation management. The construction combines anodized extruded aluminum for the structure, painted steel brackets, stainless steel screws and cable glands, glass lenses, EPDM gaskets and a PVC lens closure.

Both documented versions have IP65 protection, IK08 impact resistance and photobiological risk class RG1. The operating temperature is from -40°C to +60°C for the blue version and from -40°C to +50°C for the red version. The blue version has a maximum absorbed power of 65 W, while the red version has a maximum absorbed power of 50 W. Each lamp weighs 4.2 kg and measures 260 mm in length, 65 mm in width and 240 mm in height.
