The ELB 4220 PP Storage & Transport Container is part of the ELB 1 storage and transport container series and is designed for shelving, picking and internal transport. Its 400 x 300 mm footprint fits storage bays and picking faces where containers are repeatedly pulled, refilled and returned during daily operations.
With an external height of 220 mm, the ELB 4220 PP provides useful depth for bulkier components while remaining suitable for routine handling within stores and production areas. It supports the movement of parts in fixed, repeatable units, helping teams keep the same container format across buffer storage, order picking, kit preparation and internal replenishment activities.
The internal dimensions are 356 x 256 x 215 mm, providing a capacity of 20.4 litres. The container has a maximum load of 20 kg, making it suitable for a broad range of stored and transported items, including:
- Fasteners and other small hardware
- Machined parts and production components
- Electrical components
- Packed consumables
The ELB 4220 PP can be used to hold bought-in parts in buffer storage, present components at an order-picking location or prepare kits for production. It can also be used for internal transport between goods-in, stores, production and dispatch, keeping parts grouped in a consistent, identifiable unit as they move through the facility.
When the containers are stacked, the usable height is 200 mm. This makes the ELB 4220 PP suitable for organised vertical storage where the stacking arrangement needs to be considered alongside the available shelf or floor space. The 400 x 300 mm base format also provides a consistent footprint for storage areas using the same container type across multiple process points.
