Flexible dock levelling for medium-duty lorry loading
At a loading dock, the SKB drawbridge leveller provides a practical connection between the dock and a lorry when there is a height difference. It is designed for medium-duty applications and supports easy, flexible loading of lorries with a height difference of up to 190 mm from dock height.
The SKB is available in two configurations. The static version provides a fixed loading solution, while the sliding version runs in a steel guide rail. Where loading activity must serve more than one position, additional rails can be fitted so that the leveller can be used across multiple loading positions.
The guide rail has an open base. This design prevents the collection of dirt or debris inside the rail and ensures smooth, easy sideways movement of the sliding leveller. The result is a flexible dock solution for operations that require a leveller to be positioned at different loading points.
The SKB is suited to warehouses and distribution facilities handling medium-duty lorry loading operations, particularly where a simple static arrangement or a movable solution is required. Selection between the two versions depends on the required loading arrangement and the number of loading positions to be served.
