The RGS EW60 is a certified fire-resistant roller shutter designed to provide 60 minutes of integrity and radiation protection (EW60 classification per EN 13501-2), tested to EN 1634-1 and CE-marked under EN 13241 & EN 16034. It acts as a passive fire barrier, automatically closing via gravity-failsafe drive (400 V chain-wheel or 230 V tubular motor with control box) when triggered by fire alarms, containing flames, smoke, and radiant heat to isolate affected areas, limit damage, and support safe evacuation.Suitable for frequent-use indoor/outdoor applications in warehouses, loading bays, factories, commercial buildings, and high-risk facilities, it mounts reliably on aerated concrete, sand-lime brick, concrete, masonry, or fire-resistant steel structures. Standard safety features include external catch devices, optical/acoustic signaling, and proven durability (>10,000 cycles, C2 validated).
