ROSSS Pallet Racking Installation for ALCO Distribution Centre

ALCO, a major vehicle filter manufacturer in Cyprus, required a complete storage solution for their new distribution centre. The facility needed to accommodate high-volume stock handling to support ALCO's retail & export network while maintaining efficient order fulfilment operations.

The primary challenge centred on maximising storage density within the available warehouse space whilst ensuring safe and rapid access to fast-moving consumer goods.

A critical constraint emerged from the distribution centre's role as a central hub: the racking system needed to support numerous daily orders without creating bottlenecks during peak operational periods.

SPIMA specified and installed ROSSS pallet racking systems throughout the distribution centre. The ROSSS solution was selected for its robust and flexible features. The modular design allowed SPIMA's installation team to configure the racking to match ALCO's specific storage requirements and warehouse layout.

The ROSSS pallet racking provides robust steel construction configured to optimise vertical space utilisation. Each beam level supports 1500kgs per pair of beams, ensuring safe storage of ALCO's product range. The system incorporates post and rack end protection.
