Shelving systems are used in the situations where goods to be stored are lightweight (typically 100-1000Kg per shelf ) and will be stored and picked by hand.
Modern shelving systems are boltless and can be extended easily. A variery of shelves can be used, from full steel shelves to wire mesh decking.
In this category you will find the commonly called "galvanised shelving" used for light loads of up to 400Kg per shelf and "longspan" shelving used for up to approximately 2000Kg per shelf. Longspan is like a mini racking as its frame bracing commonly looks like standard racking ones.

Regal (R3000) shelving system
The Regal 3000 (R3000) system by SSI Schaefer is a modern and complete galvanised shelving system for your light to medium loads. The structure is usually fully galvanised although its parts can be painted upon request. It is completely free of bolts and can easily be adjusted or extended by non specialised crew. The R3000 shelving system can accommodate loads of upto 5000Kg per bay and 400Kg per shelf. The system can also be extended upwards by building upto a 4 tier mezzanine structure to maximise space.
