The Rack End Barrier 200/90 range is the most recent and most popular product in the racking protection range. The barriers are fixed one piece units and are available in single and double rail versions. Both versions can be supplied in lengths from 750 – 2500mm to suit nearly all makes and types of racking installed in either single or double bays. The end posts are based on the design of the 200mm OD A-Safe Bollard products and the single or double horizontal rails between the two posts have a substantial 90 x 90mm section.

Applications and Benefits

The barriers are used in warehouse and distribution environments where palletised or un-palletised goods or products are stored on light or heavy duty racking systems. The single rail version is the lighter duty product of the two versions. It is suitable for use in areas where manual or electric powered pallet trucks, order pickers, counter balance trucks up to 2500kg and reach trucks are operating in the in the racking aisles

Due to the use of the circular end posts it provides enhanced impact protection at the barrier ends which are the parts of the barrier most vulnerable to impact as loaded or unloaded manual or powered lift trucks are turned into or out of the aisles between racking bays. When installed the barrier is not in direct contact with or physically attached in any way to the racking it is protecting. This ensures that impact forces are absorbed and dissipated by the barrier and not transmitted to the racking system thereby avoiding damage that can be both extensive and expensive.
