High load capacity and extreme stability
The EFA-STR® does not only move with an incredible speed but also requires extremely low maintenance, is heavy-duty and extremely stable. The flexible door leaf is led laterally and is moved upwards and downwards in a force-closed manner: Linear expansions are ruled out. It consists of individually replaceable, 4-field module segments. Aluminium profiles reinforce the curtain with a distance of 225 mm.
Fast and safe: Active Crash System EFA-ACS

Especially with regard to extremely high speed, safety is a big issue. Best protection is offered by the Active Crash System, by means of which the door leaf repairs itself. EFA-ACS, the completely new crash protection provides a fully-automatic, electronically monitored retraction of the door leaf after a crash.
This is how the Active Crash System works
In case of a collision, the demountably connected laths can be pressed out of the guide without being damaged. This is recognised by an inductive sensor system which joins the inner and the outer hinges of the door leaf again in a safe and correct manner during a slower upwards movement.

Copied a thousand times - but still unequalled. The door leaf is not wound-up on a shaft but kept space-saving in a certain distance in the patented EFAFLEX spiral. This functional principle guarantees quite a number of unique advantages: only this unique design combines highest opening speed, long service life and efficiency in such a perfect manner. Thanks to the spiral, the doors move quietly and wear-free - and look as good as new for many years.
Flexible and stable at the same time

The door leaf of the EFA-STR® is made up of several segments which can also be replaced individually in case of being damaged. This reduces repair costs as well as stand-still times in the case of a damage. The door leaf itself is made of PVC-coated polyester fibre. Aluminium profiles reinforce the individual segements in a distance of 225mm and thus provide the corresponding stability. This also makes doors with a width and height of several metres extremely robust. Due to the unique combination of flexible door leaf, reinforcement by aluminium profiles and the EFAFLEX spiral technology, the EFA-STR® can achieve record speed.
