For Dock shelters and countless other large-scale projects such as distribution centres, our DOCK doors have a lot of major advantages to offer.
DOCK doors are usually not very big and always have a vertical lift or a high lift. They are often fitted in a row, so much is the same.
The advantages of DOCK doors:
- Quick fitting – two men can fit four doors a day
- The galvanised shaft is FULLY pre-fitted in the sleeve
- The springs are on a sleeve so service and maintenance work at large heights is a thing of the past
- The cables run inside by means of a cable sheave
- Spring buffers are prefitted.
The DOCK door range extends to a width of 3750 mm and a height of 4000 mm . Bigger doors are possible in industrial door format.
Dock doors can be operated as follows :
- Manually (chainhoist or rope depending on size)
- Motor driven without safety edge (the user pushes the button continuously to close door and acts as a safety barrier)
- Motor driven with safety edge (if door encounters obstacle on the way down it reverses direction)
Motor driven solutions are supplied with a chainhoist also for emergency operations or building power failures.

The DOCK door has three different lifting systems
- High lift with free space at the top between 850 and 1350 mm
- High lift with free space at the top from 1350 mm
- Vertical lift; this means that the lifting gear consists of one-piece rails with a diverter wheel at the top

If you do not state any preferences, the door you order will have standard RAL 9002 on the inside and on the outside. RAL 9002 is greyish white. Of course your door can be spray-painted in any standard RAL colour at a minimum surcharge and without loss of time.
Quality
Every door supplied must meet 15 different quality aspects. This is checked during an end-of-production test to ensure that the door shows no defects. Should the door meet only 14 quality requirements, it will go through the entire process again. In addition, daily random tests of the doors ready for loading are also performed.
